Netduty.club is a scam. Nigerians desist!

There are various online site claiming networking and all sort. The truth is that all this site that claims to lift the financial burdens of Nigeria are capitalising on the failure of the Nigeria Government to better the lives of its citizens. There are no jobs, things are badly expensive, parents can't pay their children school fees and an average Nigeria can hardly feed on 3square meals per day. But with the advent of the online networking where an individual is ask to pay certain amount of money and also get a referer in return he/she gets double of the investment or rewarded with other Incentives.

Among these site are the likes of MMM, H2i,  MELISFON  and so many.  But there are others that are out to deceive and scam anyone that becomes a member this sites comes with packages that will attract you to register without giving it a second thought. Such site you have to be careful so you don't be a prey or victim.

Their is one now that is recently introduced is called NETDUTY.CLUB what they ask you to is you draw traffic to the site and you are paid 300usd and according to them you can make 1500usd and more. But do you know what? Is all lies. Their is nothing like that many have falling prey to this deceptive site and nothing is paid to them. You spend your data to send advert for them by sharing on whatsapp, facebook and so on but you are not paid a dime. Is all scam. Someone complain of making 1005usd and requested for payment he was turned down. I personally qualified for withdrawal of 375usd but denied. Every means to reach the admin with the contact provided proves abortive.

I am doing this so that the whole world will know that netduty.club is scam and that nobody should partake in their deciet.

I am a member of netduty.club and I am qualified for payment, therefore if they manage to read this,  I advice they pay me my due. My membership id is Ekpo83.

Timaya kneels and prays for fans amidst stage performance – fans say he’ll be a pastor in future

The Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa, who recently told Punch Newspaper a couple of interesting things about his life and music, has done another spectacular thing that has gotten his fans extremely thrilled and pleased with him. From his interview with Punch newspaper, it could be deduced that Timaya is actually wise and full of understanding, unlike some of his colleagues in the industry.

While others are randomly having multiple baby-mamas, Timaya struck a deal with one woman to be his only baby-mama, who has had two lovely daughters for him. According to the singer, his childbearing is a well-calculated attempt at being just a father without being a husband. And at the same time, not having children from more than one woman. Timaya said: “I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING.”

For this reason and more, some fans believe the dancehall singer will become a pastor in future, given his lifestyle and lyrics, as compared to other Nigerian celebrities. Timaya did something that pointed towards the possibility of that believe. In a show recently, the singer paused for a moment while on stage and knelt to pray for his fans. That act thrilled his fans so much and won him their respect the more. They believe in him. But does that mean he’ll be a pastor?

Jobs women shouldn’t do

We live in a world where a woman can do anything, be anything she wants to be and go to any height she can conceive in her mind which is admirable. Yet certain careers make the average person on the street raise an eyebrow though this does not mean there are no successful women found in these careers.

Wrestling and boxing

The sight of women engaged in a cat fight and screaming and pulling at each other’s hair might be appealing to some men but when we talk about boxing and wrestling, we mean business. True wrestlers and boxers have a lot of stamina and quite frankly, describing their physique as intimidating just might be an understatement.

Heavy weight lifting

It is beneficial for the reshaping of a woman’s body and also good for cardio but have you ever thought of the strain this career on her relationships and time? It goes without saying that weightlifting requires dedication and doggedness which can really affect how much time she is able to spend with loved ones.

Prostitution

Don’t roll your eyes. This ‘job’ is on the list for obvious reasons. No matter what you call it, being a ‘runs babe’, being sharp, knowing your way around men, social worker or whatever, all na prostitution as long as you feel you are getting material gain due to your activities in bed. It reduces a woman’s dignity and opens the portal for a whole lot of regrets.

Secret service

I bet you are thinking of the CIA, but in Nigeria it is the SSS which equally has its own risks. Be careful, woman.

Masonry

We know that condition pushes people but ideally, women shouldn’t be subjected to this. You wouldn’t like to see your sister or mother doing this, would you?

Ubi Franklin finally reconnects with his son

Triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin, has been hugely prevented from spending quality time with his son due to his issues with his celebrity wife, Lilian Esoro, who decided to remain abroad with the child after childbirth. Having starved her husband of seeing their son for a long while, she decided to visit Nigeria to afford him the opportunity to be with their lovely son, Jaden.

Ever since Lilian’s return, Ubi Franklin has been spending time establishing a solid reconnection with his son as it had been a while without him. He inevitably will have to miss him again after Lilian returns to the states with him. So now that he has the time, the Tripple MG boss is seriously gushing over his son like biblical Sarah did when she bore her miracle son, Isaac.

Ubi has not relented in filling the media in on his special moments with his son. He shared a snapshot of them together on social media and tagged it; “Love You Son.” From the look of things, Ubi is really ready to build and keep a home. It’s a pity his marriage is going through some rough times. All he can do now is enjoy his son’s presence while it lasts.

“I wanted people to see me as a rude boy” – Timaya

Singer Timaya, also known as the “Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa,” had a few interesting things to say in an interview with Punch Newspaper. He spoke about a couple of things, ranging from his music, his baby-mama, his daughters, and his dreadlocks, which according to him was aimed at making him look RUGGED.

According to him, he has two lovely daughters from the same baby-mama, who made him promise not to have another baby-mama besides her. Speaking about his dreadlocks, he said: “My dreadlock was a strategy. I wanted people to see me as a rude boy. I couldn’t have been giving all those troubles with a calm and clean face. I wanted a look that would associate with it.  Now, people come to me and I smile.”

“I was happy I was controversial and I was being talked about. I used to struggle to be known before then and I desperately wanted to be known. Finally, they started talking about me. People felt I was troublesome. Some felt I was controversial. Even those who didn’t know my music knew my name. When I had got what I wanted, I felt it was time for me to rebrand.”

It's Nigeria moment ; it's Africa's moment; Jidenna talks to CNN.

The Nigerian-American rapper and singer, Jidenna has made to applaud the Nigerian music industry in a recent interview with CNN where he expressed his satisfaction with the Afro-Beat genre. He noted that Nigeria was taking Africa to another level, after which he confirmed working on collaboration with Wizkid. He also hopes to collaborate with Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Davido and a couple others in future. In his words:

“I think it is Nigeria’s moment. It’s Africa’s moment. I think Nigeria is a spearhead because Nigerians seem to be charged full of character so people are eating it up all across the world.” The mute-talented act, who is gearing up to release his first album “Long Live The Chief,” has crunched out a few tracks off the album, some of which he had spiced up with a little pidgin English. Further speaking, he said:

“I wanted to see [if] in the US, I can get a song on the radio that actually has pidgin in it? And I did it. That’s the beautiful thing… [My album] you can dance and shoki to it. In the larger context, my album blends the different worlds that I’ve lived in." Speaking on what inspires his lyrics, he said:

“I have all these proverbs stored in my head. My friends always laugh because they’re like; you’re always trying to preach and teach something to us. I grew up with all these proverbs and I have to share them. I think it’s the values and principles that make the Nigerian identity part of me stand out.”

Types of guys you'll find in a bar

Night bars and clubs are usually packed to the brim with fun-loving people on Friday nights and weekends. One can get lost in the excitement, fun and partying pretty quick. Are you single and ready to mingle? Bars and clubs are quick joints to get hooked up. Here, check out the types of guys you'll likely find in bars.

The fun-loving ones

These categories of guys are the ones who can't pass up the everyday grooving at night bars and clubs for anything else. Guys like these know how to have fun and there's never a boring moment with them

Habits stingy husbands exhibit

Stingy guys are very easy to point out, they get sullen and in a dark mood when it comes to spending their money. And for the married ones, they make their wives at home get frustrated with them with the annoying attitudes they put up when money is demanded from them. Find out the habits stingy husbands exhibit below.

They do shopping for the family themselves

Stingy husbands don't trust their wife with their hard-earned cash so they go to the grocery store or local market themselves to get whatever the family needs so they can keep track of their cash flow easily. Hello? If you are in this category (no insults intended, you need help like seriously!)

They constantly demand for explanation on how their money is spent

If they are so unfortunate not to do the shopping themselves they make their wife "poor woman" go through the stress of mentioning the price of all the goods bought and if she spends way over the limit fixed by her spouse she has to explain herself else.... She'll face her husband's fury. Then you see them complaining their wife ditched them darn! Any sensible woman would.

They hide money in their briefs

Ridiculous right?! Well that's how far stinginess has gotten them. They'll be like "as long as that woman does not see any cash on me, am safe" seriously? Mr, Husband it's like you want to get starved o, do this with a typical Nigerian woman and she'll gladly cook for the whole family except YOU of course!

Reasons to cut back on your use of seasonings

Eating food without seasoning is as good as eating sand (kind of actually). Most seasonings are salt based and the lack of a standard measurement for how to season your food makes people go overboard sometimes. Too much salt is bad for your health and too little salt is just bland. Since seasonings are usually salty, the basic ingredient is sodium which if consumed in high quantities is detrimental to one’s health. High sodium content in food is linked to increased blood pressure and other heart-related diseases.

What makes reducing your sodium intake harder is that it is mostly found in processed foods so you can’t really do anything about food that you buy with salt already added to it. This is why you should be mindful of the packaged foods you buy.  Read labels and compare to know which is higher in sodium content. Also, go for condiments with less sodium. I can’t stress enough how important it is to read labels before you buy.

You could also stay healthy by eating more fresh foods like salad, fish, and poultry. Eat unsalted nuts and seeds then reduce how often you eat potato and plantain chips. Also, when you cook by grilling, roasting, searing or braising and sautéing it brings out the natural flavor of food thereby reducing the need to add more seasoning.

The reason you should cut back your use of seasoning is because it can cause obesity and heart failure. Studies keep revealing that too much salt will not only affect the heart and cause stroke but there is also a great likelihood that it can contribute to chronic kidney disease. This is no myth, guys. It’s the real deal. Take decisive steps to reduce your use of seasonings.

Falz becomes an approved research topic for UNILAG student

Accomplishments come in different ways. Wizkid has impressively bagged multiple awards this year, which is a remarkable achievement. A couple of other music acts have achieved various things this year or attained higher heights thus far. But Falz the Bhad Guy’s latest achievements seems to more notable than anything he has achieved this year.

After all his romanticism with Simi, which got fans talking, the singer may have decided to take a break for the year and probably restart storming the media with talk-provoking activities next year. He never knew he was going to round up the year being a case study, as a Unilag student decided to do a research on the entertainer as her final year project.

Funny enough, her project supervisor approved the topic, and she now has to work on a project topic that goes thus; “LANGUAGE USE IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY: A STUDY OF FALZ THE BAHD GUY.” The female student who goes by the name Onyeani Chiamaka Faith is much sought for by Falz, as he is overly excited by the development and seemingly seeks to throw some money on her for honoring him that much. Breaking the news on Instagram, the rapper wrote; “Somebody find deez babe for me plix.” Let’s hope he finds her.

Mad crush!!! - Instagram chic says she killed a fellow lady in the market because of Don Jazzy

Don Jazzy has sure had a lot of ladies declaring their “mad crush” on him over the years. Some of his female fans are crazily obsessed with him. It’s a pity that their fantasies may not just become a reality. It is however believed that fairy tells sometimes come true. But then, what is the possibility that any of these girls crushing on him will end up with him? I don’t see it happening, though… Lol.

Be that as it may, the girls just won’t give up on giving things a shot. After all, it is said that “quitters never win. And WINNERS NEVER QUIT.” Hopefully, one of these days will see news headlines tagged; “DON JAZZY IS SET TO MARRY ONE OF HIS FEMALE FANS.” What a wonderful day that would be. If that eventually happens, the female fan will most definitely be this Instagram chic who is ready to kill because of him.

Taking to her Instagram page, the young lady, who already has a son, revealed her undying love for Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy. According to her, she murdered a fellow lady at Wuse market in Abuja because of Don Jazzy. She doesn’t want any ladies coming around the Mavin boss. And she tagged Don Jazzy in the said post, which was concluded with her urging the Mavin boss to come and marry her.

After fight at Quilox, Oritse Femi set to give 3 fans 50k each

Well, the weekend that saw singer Oritse Femi brutally handled by bouncers at Quilox Night Club had come and gone with blood spills and hospitalization. Not to forget fans’ rage at the singer due to his least expected insubordination and violent engagements at the club. Even though the singer tendered an apology to his fans from the hospital bed, some still find it hard to let his misconduct slide.

As you know, there are no celebrities without fans. The least thing any celebrity wants is to lose their fans for whatever reason, especially in this recession. Seeing that his fans are being rather cold towards him because of the Quilox incident, the singer has devised a means to win back their hearts. Taking to his social media page, the Double “Wahala” crooner announced that he’ll be rewarding 3 of his fans with N50k each in a "dance & win contest."

He wrote; "Guys... Have you seen my new video 'ONGBALARAMI shot by the very talented Clarence Peters? Send a 30 seconds video dancing to ONGBALARAMI. Can you do my dance better than me? Top 3 most liked videos will receive N50k each and get a chance to hang out with me and my energetic dancers for a video shoot."

Why you shouldn't wash your face often

Are you that cleanliness freak who can't stand the sight of sweat or a lil smudge on your face and tadaa! you are off to the ladies to get it all washed off. Hello, washing the face is cool, yeah it's also hygienic but here are some reasons why you shouldn't wash your face every chance you get.

The skin can dry out easily

Frequent cleansing of the face can get rid of moisture on the skin, making it dry out and dehydrated. Even the use of plain water in washing the face countless times can also dry out the skin.

The skin can easily get exposed to bacteria and infections

Washing the face too often, or scrubbing it too hard, strips it of all moisture and makes it vulnerable to irritations and infections.

Most face washes contain harmful chemicals

Yeah, those fragrant face washes we love so much. Most of them contain a whole lot of possibly dangerous and harmful chemicals that can affect our hormone system when used on the skin for long periods . Hard to believe huh?

It can induce acne breakouts

If you are the type of person constantly battling with pesky zits popping on your face. It's not a good idea to wash your face often cos that can make the acne spread out and worsen.

Play cupid

Cupid, the Roman god of love depicted as a chubby naked baby holds a bow and arrow with which he shoots love into people’s hearts. Is that you job description as well? There may come a time when you have that male friend who likes your one of your female friends. You may or may not have been the one who introduced them but then when this happens you get to be the one he confides in and that puts you in the middle.

A girl always knows when a guy likes her even before he opens up. Ladies, abi no be so? He becomes extra gentle, courteous and attentive to your needs. No matter how he tries to hide it, you may get mixed signals at first but after a while, it is obvious that he is infatuated. Thus, in this case, your female friend would have already sensed his feelings.

In a situation where the girl is indifferent about the guy or she has permanently friend-zoned him in her mind, what do you do? You are stuck because the guy has opened up to you about his feelings and he hopes you can put in a good word for him. Meanwhile, the girl, knowing you two are really close, will tell you to give him a heads up so that things don’t get awkward.
As a girl, you understand that you can’t force him to love her,but as the guy’s friend you want him to hook up with her because he is a really cool guy. The solution is simple. To keep the friendship on all fronts, give the guy a subtle heads up. Tell him to take his time and not push too hard ‘cos once the words are out, you can’t take it back.

Playing cupid could come back to bite you, so let the adults handle their business as it ought to be; you can only advise.

Singer Chidinma could be born-again now – recent Instagram posts reveal

Singer Chidinma had kept her fans in suspense concerning her music for a while before finally coming up with her latest single titled “Fallen in love.” Fans assumed the single was inspired by her alleged significant other, Flavour N’abania, when she made to she delete all her Instagram photos safe for those she shared with the highlife singer.

When rumors of her falling head over hills for Flavour spread like wildfire, the singer again visited her Instagram page and yanked off all the photos she shared with Flavour, supposedly clearing the air and proving otherwise the people’s assumption of her being madly in love with the highlife singer. In addition to seemingly not wanting any speculated emotional attachment to Flavour, the singer seems to be tilting towards the path Singer Lynxx now trades.

Chidinma’s recent Instagram updates have been more about finding one’s purpose on earth just like Lynxx’s, who professed to have found his purpose and being born again. Chidinma even makes a re-post of Lynxx’s past posts, suggesting that she and Lynxx are on the same page. That would be a good development, I must confess. Just in case anyone happens to be in doubt of her new acclaimed identity, her new Instagram posts will clear such doubt. See one of them;

On that day, it will not matter how many people like you or how popular you are. The riches and possessions you have acquired will be meaningless. Our opinion, culture, race or religion will not matter. On that day,it will not matter how many people like you or how popular you are. The riches and possessions you have acquired will be meaningless. Our opinion, culture, race or religion will not matter. On that day, only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is all that will matter. Those souls are waiting”

The wedding ceremony of Zahra, the 21 year old daughter of Pres.Buhari, earlier scheduled for this weekend has been postponed, reports DailyTrust.

Crashed!!! – Phynofest in Enugu gatecrashed by city boys

The Phynofest 2016 was designed to be a must attend. The intentions of the organizers were to drag every resident of the city who has any degree of love for music to the scene to watch the Enugu State born rapper, Phyno, rock the stage. The play out of things in the event was not different from the expected outcome. As a matter of fact, the organizers’ expectation was overly met, as a good number of residents turned up.

The only downside was that the said residents did not all wish to pay the fixed gate fee of 200 naira only. However, they all wanted to be part of the event. So when the bouncers wouldn’t let them in the venue, they devised other means of getting in the venue because they all wanted to watch Phyno rhyme on the beat.

As risky as it was, the city boys resorted to climbing over the roof of the 40 feet building just to watch Phyno perform. It’s unimaginable how they put their lives at such risk for that reason when they could easily have watched the show live on hipTV from the comfort of their homes. Some people say the love the Igbos have for their own is so great that they can do anything for it. Even at that, I don’t think 200 Naira was too much to sacrifice for the love. Do you?

Why you are at odds with your mother-in-law

Frantically , the bride and mother- in law should be inseparable; the woman being happy that someone befitting has claimed the heart of her son and the girl pleased that she has found another mother in the woman that raised the jewel she calls husband.

But Nollywood has painted a picture that these two women are destined to be constantly at each other’s necks. It is said that what we see in movies is a reflection of reality and not the movies enforcing ideas on people. Either way, this brings me to one of the reasons one might be at odds with the mother-in-law. Some ladies may have gotten married with a certain predisposition; that mindset that all mothers-in-law are wicked or troublesome. This explains why some ladies utter vile words like ‘I wish to marry a guy whose mother is late’. That’s just cold! This thought pattern colours what the lady does and affects the way she treats the poor woman without giving her a chance.

On the other hand, some women cause trouble for their daughters-in law and the reason is usually simple: fear. Women who are particularly close to their kids get jealous of their son’s wives, fearing that the son will not pay her as much attention as before anymore. They feel threatened by the ‘new’ girl so the onus falls on the man to set the record straight, making the mother feel loved and know that his wife’s role in his life is different from hers.

Also, what causes friction just might be a lack of compromise. Both women are very important to the man and this is what they must understand. Each should play her role in his life without seeking to outdo the other; it is not a competition. The bulk of the matter is in understanding each other too. Know the kind of person the mother-in-law is to avoid friction.

He signed an endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria in April 2012. Then on October 23, 2013, he partnered with Guinness Nigeria for the "Guinness World of More" concert. After spending a few years in Atlanta, the city of his birth, he repositioned to Lagos Nigeria. He was still very young as at the time of his relocation to Nigeria.

Since his emergence in the industry with his hit single, “DamiDuro,” which was well received throughout Nigeria, he has recorded a remarkable number of achievements. Even though he has a record of several involvements in controversial issues, the singer has strived hard to remain at the top. His lapses have been blamed on his age thus far. Now that he’s turned 24, it is hoped that maturity will accompany this new age. Shout out to the birthday boy!

When makeup isn't an option

Scars, bruises, flaws and zits on the face can all be masked thanks to makeup, with a slight dab of the face powder, concealer or foundation on the face tadaa! You are looking radiant and flawless. Ladies all over use make-up always except the conventional ones who only stick to face powder on rare occasions. As stated earlier, makeup conceals facial flaws and is a lady's best friend in the business of looking gorgeous. However, there are some instances when makeup isn't an alternative to looking your best. Find out below.

When you are seriously in need of a bath

I get it, you are seriously tired and can't go through the routine of taking a bath after work before heading out to see that old friend of yours and you are like makeup to the rescue! Really , that's gross! Concealing all that sweat under layers of foundation isn't hygienic! Take a bath sister

That moment when you are like "geez, my mouth is too wide"

Makeup is only suitable for enhancing facial beauty. It can't change your facial features! Well maybe it will modify it a teeny weeny bit, but if a complete transformation of your facial features is what you want.

When you are about to hit the gym

Let's say there's a guy you want to dazzle while at the gym, my dear you have to go naturale! Cos what's the point?! It will also get streaked with sweat and you look awful.

Burnaboy attempts to step on a fan's face during stage performance

The 25-year-old Burnaboy is known for many things, ranging from his weed smoking abilities to his rugged thug-like personality. A combination of these factors has aided the singer to birth a style of music widely accepted by Nigerian music lovers. That can be seen in the number of fans the singer has accumulated for himself using his spectacular music style. There is always a huge turn-up whenever Burna is billed to rock a stage.

In this particular concert, the singer was billed to rock the stage, which he did with his shirts off. Along with him on stage was Phyno, as he put up a wonderful performance that got fans screaming their lungs out while singing along with him. As his performance continued, a little event played out that would have turned things around to the negative if not for the intervention of the Enugu State rapper, Phyno.

While Burnaboy was parading the stage, he got in close range with fans and even had some of them sing via the mic in his hands. But then, a guy from the crowd called Burnaboy’s attention to something that apparently didn’t go down well with Burnaboy. That was when the singer attempted to step on the guy in anger. But the guy quickly dodged. Burnaboy made to go after him in that anger. But Phyno intervened, and the performance continued in peace.

Fela's picture after he was brutalized by Nigerian military in 1978 will inspire you

Fela is one person that has left his signature on the sands of time. Even in this generation, we still hear of his escapades and involvements with government officials of his time. But I bet we hardly hear of a good number of the said government officials who had one thing or the other to do with the king of Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti of blessed memory.

It is no news that the legend used his music as a medium of advocating for the good of the people and the nation at large. His effrontery, however, did not appeal to the reasoning of the men in power. So from time to time, they had clashes that mostly left the Afrobeats hero in a devastating state. A number of times, he was jailed. A number of times, he was harassed. And a number of times he was beaten!

Just recently, a picture of him after he was beaten blue and black by military personals surfaced on snapchat. And bitterly recorded memories of the rough old days got stirred up in the minds of Nigerians who are familiar with history. The picture shows the Afrobeat legend with bandages all over his arms and head. He went through such ordeal in the hands of the military for pursuing a noble course. Hopefully, this will inspire you to stand your ground no matter what.

Nnaji guy draws Genevieve Nnaji— says she is the love of my life

The “Pana” crooner, who some time ago put his huge “cassava” on display for the viewing pleasure of fans who doubted the authenticity of his claims of having a huge “cassava,” has again brought to public knowledge his celebrity crush who tickles the fancy of his very huge “cassava.” The said celebrity crush is Nollywood diva, “Genevieve Nnaji,” who Tekno last week said is “the love of his life.”

Fans thought he was kidding around. Logically speaking, how would a 23-year-old Tekno love a 37-year-old Genevieve Nnaji? But Tekno has proven the reality of his proclamation by taking out valuable time to make a very beautiful painting in honor of Genevieve Nnaji. It is unknown whether or not the feeling is being reciprocated by the Nollywood actress. All we know is that “TEKNO IS IN LOVE.”

Health benefits of milk

Growing big and strong is fondly associated with drinking milk and that couldn’t be more correct. Milk is a highly nutritious drink that we relegate to being used only for breakfast in tea, pap, and other morning meals. This health drink is not specific to just children but can be of benefits to even adults. Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by false ideas about milk that people peddle about. For example, people say organic milk is healthier than regular milk. They are actually both nutritious so don’t be fooled. Here are other things you didn’t know about milk.

Rehydration

The water content of milk is so much that it is enough to keep one hydrated especially for a person who is super active and busy.

Increases life span

This might seem like an exaggeration but research has shown that drinking milk could reduce the risk of dying of heart disease or stroke by as much as 20 percent.

Healthy bones

Strong bones have long been linked with a good intake of milk and calcium is the element that ensures that. Now guess what is an excellent source of calcium… that’s right! Milk is. It is good for proper bone structure and decreasing bone growth disorders.

Vitamin D

If milk contains a whole lot of calcium then you need a particular vitamin to absorb it and that is vitamin D. Milk is like a complete package which offers calcium and the nutrient needed to absorb it. Vitamin D also reduces inflammation and increases immune function.

Improving dental health

Young children should be encouraged to drink milk regularly as it protects the enamel thus reducing the possibility of developing decayed teeth and weak gums.

Five reasons silent treatment shouldn’t be an option

Loved ones might piss you off so much that you decide to ‘lock up’. You feel they deserve to be given a cold shoulder just so they can understand the gravity of what they have done or how much they have annoyed you. You may feel justified in ‘punishing’ them but more often than not in your bid to inflict hurt on them, you do so on yourself instead. The silent treatment should not an option to prove how upset you are. Rather, talk it out and move on, here are five reasons why:

The silent treatment usually blows the problem out of proportion. After a while, you may even forget why you are fighting in the first place and over time, the reason for the fight would not be worth keeping malice.

It consumes your time and energy. Except you are very vindictive, it takes conscious effort to remember that you are not talking to a loved one so what happens is that at times you have information or gossip to share and then you want to tell that person but you suddenly remember you are meant to be keeping malice. That’s just work! It hinders you from moving forward. Giving someone the silent treatment means whatever that person has done to you festers in your mind and then you have to shoulder that baggage always.

If this happens with someone you are really close to, it can affect your other relationships. You might find yourself wanting to tell other people over and over how you were hurt. This stops you from enjoying other relationships and might make people tire of you.

It makes you the bad guy. This might seem like a silly reason not to keep malice but just for the fact that you don’t want to be caught being the offender, be the bigger person and let go.

Burnaboy shows off his babe cooking in the kitchen

Recently Uju Stella dragged the Reggae dancehall star into a messy controversy by claiming she was pregnant for the singer. The self-acclaimed potential Burnaboy’s baby-mama showed off her baby bump on social media to back up her claims of being pregnant for real. But then, the baby bump couldn’t be found again some weeks ago. It paranormally disappeared!

Burnaboy was displeased with the media for paying attention to Uju’s claims of being pregnant for him. It is yet to be known what actually became of the baby bump Uju Stella displayed on social media. There are no traces whatsoever to a possible abortion or miscarriage. Neither has substantial statements been made in that regard.

Maybe the “Soke” singer is finally clarifying his fans about his relationship status by sharing a video of a lady cooking in the kitchen. He tagged the video; “Studio at the back, mama in the kitchen.” This completely rules out any assumptions of him still being connected to Uju Stella. The unnamed lady in the footage is a young light-skinned beauty who seems to be the one rocking Burnaboy’s boat at the moment. Did you day it will not last? Let's wait and see.

D'banj claps back at fan that compared his music to a heap of refuse dump

Some fans won't just stop getting on the nerves of celebrities. Over time, it has always been an "operation slander the celebrities" for any mistake they make. It's high time some people understood that these celebrities are humans too, and are prone to mistakes like all of us. But even when that is well-known, some people won’t just stop. It would have been better if they ended at slandering celebrities for their mistakes alone. But no. It has gotten past that.

Now, anything a celebrity does, which does not go down well with some fans, will attract some degree of slander. It does not matter whether what the celebrity did was right or wrong. As long as it does not go down well with a fan, slanders will follow. That is how one fan compared the Kokomaster’s music to a heap of refuse dump simply because he did not like the music or something. Well, D’banj did well to send him a soothing reply.

The fan, who goes by the twitter username, “@OlubunmiMiles,” took to his page to tag “@iamdbanj” in a post that had a picture of a refuse dump attached to it, and then questioning the quality of one of D’banj’s track titled “FOCUS” by asking; “@iamdbanj – I mean no disrespect oo. But to be #Candid, what’s the difference between this your “FOCUS” track and this picture?” D’banj didn’t have much to say to him. He simply replied him saying: “YOUR BRAIN.”

Claudio Ranieri: Champions League isn't to blame for Leicester's domestic form

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has dismissed suggestions the Foxes have been distracted by the Champions League.

The struggling Premier League champions will reach the last 16 with a draw against Club Brugge on Tuesday and only have to better Porto's result against Copenhagen to win Group G.

Ranieri's men are unbeaten in Europe this season and are yet to concede a goal, but their league title defence is in tatters.

Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Watford left Leicester two points above the relegation zone and they have lost twice as many games, six, as they did during last season's shock triumph.

Leicester are top of Group G, three points clear of Porto, but have only won three league games this season - failing to win before any European game - yet Ranieri insisted they remain focused on both fronts.

He said: "No, I don't think it's a distraction. It's enjoyment. I don't see the difference.

"If you see the match against Watford and the match against Copenhagen or Brugge or Porto, it's the same. The difference is in the Champions League matches we score, in the other matches no.

"Our focus is this: try to win tomorrow and then go back into the Premier League and try to improve our table.

"Yes of course I have to work harder, everyone has to work harder.

The team, the lads are very strong and we know we have to fight a lot and we have to change this way but now we have the opportunity to go in the Champions League knockouts.

"We achieved the third position (in the group) but of course now we want to achieve something more. Our fairytale is continuing, we did something special last season and we're doing it again this season."

Exactly a year ago Jamie Vardy equalled the Premier League goalscoring record by netting in his 10th straight game, a 3-0 win at Newcastle.

A week later he broke it against Manchester United but is now without a goal in his last 13 Leicester games. The 29-year-old scored in England's 2-2 draw with Spain last week but has not had a shot on target for his club since September.

Riyad Mahrez is also struggling to find top form but does have three goals and one assist in Europe having scored twice in September's 3-0 win in Belgium.

He has scored just one goal from open play in his last 20 club games and the Algerian admitted performing in the Champions League brings the best out of him.

"To be honest I enjoy the Champions League like the Premier League. When I was younger we wanted to play in the Champions League and now we are playing in this and we are doing well," he said.

"There is no special game for me because all the games are important and I enjoy all the games.

"We are winning the games in the Champions League. Obviously when we win there are some players who come on to the team and score goals. Islam (Slimani) scores goals and we defend very well. Zero goals conceded, so when we start to win in the Premier League as well everyone will be better."

Kasper Schmeichel remains sidelined with the hand he fractured in the 0-0 draw in Copenhagen this month and Slimani is out with a groin injury while Nampalys Mendy and Ben Chilwell (both ankle) are also sidelined.

Davido curses Donald Trump in a video uses the "F" word on him

The president-elect of the United States of America, Donald trump, may be on a quest to flush out Africans from his state as alleged. But such actions don't extend to African celebrities based abroad, even though they come from "that country whose citizens can't feed three times daily. You know the country? Lol. But then, Davido doesn't seem like one from such a country. Or perhaps, "such a family."

That explains his audacity overtime. He has graduated from exchanging words with his baby-mama and beating up folks who attempt to pull a prank on him. Now he's bashing at the soon-to-be number one personality in the world, not minding that he has a lot of dealings to undertake in the white President's nation. While hanging out with his friends in a hotel, the DMW boss videoed himself and his guys and made the most unlikely of statements.

In the video, Davido and his guys are seen clustering at a spot and all trying to talk to the camera. Suddenly, the sonny music star just blotted out the words: "FUCK DONALD TRUMP." His guys started laughing. But one of them politely rebuked him and somewhat pointed out to him the woes that could follow that statement. But Davido ignored him and again said: "I HAVE MY GREEN CARD ALREADY. SO FUCK DONALD TRUMP." Fans have since been wondering what Trump will do when he sees that video. What do you think he will do?

Pls drop your comments thank you.

Korede Bello's sarcastic responds to a rude fan

There are no celebrities without fans. If you hear a certain celebrity is richer thank the other, it doesn't necessarily mean he or she really knows the music business better than the other. It simply means the richer celebrity has more fans to patronize her. Take for instance Tiwa Savage and Tobby Grey. You will all agree with me that Tiwa Savage is richer than Tobby Grey, even when fans allege that Tobby Grey is a better singer than Tiwa Savage. I bet some of us don't even know who Tobby Grey is. Lol.

So you see that Tiwa has more fans, so she bags more money from album sales and shows since she will always be paid heavily, being that her involvement in a particular event aids profitable turnouts, which can be interpreted as "so much money." For this reason, fans are highly esteemed by celebrities, as all celebrities want to keep getting more love from them, as well as run a good music business using their traffic. But some fans take advantage of that privilege and do or say things that are unacceptable. Some celebrities ignore seeming insults from fans.

However, some don't give a rat's ass. They simply clap back outrightly. And some others, however, use sarcasm to upset fans who bash them, just like what Korede Bello did this fan of his. The singer shared a photo of Rihanna, wearing an outfit that resembles the one he wore to the MAMA Award's and captioned it: "My mechanic girlfriend #DoLikeThat." A fan saw his post and replied: "she's different from you. she no wear go award" korede simply reply the fan sarcastically. He wrote: who ask you? Differentiator.  Differentiate calculus,. Uncle Soyinka, clap for your self.

Chidima unveils new music label

The MTN project fame singer, Chidinma, has decided to take matters into her hands by creating a record label for herself. Her story in recent times has been like that of "a runaway bride." Lol. She got the internet buzzing some days back. When word got to some of her fans, they supposed she had finally decided to come up with a new music for them since it had been a while. But to their greatest amazement, the buzz was rather because the singer strangely decided to rid her Instagram page of all pictures she had posted there.

On the early hours of that day, The "Emi ni Baller" crooner declared her intentions of dropping a new song titled; "Fallen In Love." She actually did as she promised. But on doing this, she made to delete every single photo she had posted on her Instagram before then, leaving only the ones she took with fellow singer, Flavor N'abania; a picture they were seen striking a pose together. That left fans puzzled, as the act was kind of strange and unexpected.

But then, a short while later, she made to take down even those photos of herself and Flavor, leaving only some pictures of herself posing. In that process, she revealed that the earlier speculations of her being signed to Flavor's music label are untrue. Instead, the singer unveiled a music label known as "40FIED Music Company". While many were still wondering what that was, as it had never been heard on the Nigerian music scene before, Chidinma made it known that it was her own Music Label. Chidinma is now her own boss!

Phyno eulogises Olajumoke in his new ghetto gospel hit: "joy comes in the morning"

The Enugu State rapper, whose music genre is more or less considered to be a "Ghetto Gospel," has come up with another inspiring and motivational hit titled "Joy comes in the morning." The hit was produced by Major Bangs as usual. And Phyno exceptionally made reference to Olajumoke, the bread seller who miraculously became a high profile model when he said: "o kwanwanyina-ele bread ka a na-enye standing ovation."

The Igbo rapper's words translate thus in English: "Isn't the bread-seller girl the one now being given standing ovations?" Singing further about temptations, the "Karashika" crooner noted that they come to trouble a man's life, but last only for a while. The much celebrated "ghetto gospel" act advised via the same song that folks should rid their minds of hate in order to achieve success.

This new track follows the trend of his other songs like "Connect", "FadaFada" etc., considering the soul-cheering message it carries. The rapper, who has made it a habit to be dropping back-to-back hits has come up with this new sensation just for your listening pleasure. What better motivational song do we need in this trying time? Download "Joy comes in the morning." by Phyno "Alobam" and cheer your dear soul.

Appeal court strikes out suit against Oba of Benin. Edo govt

BENIN—THE Court of Appeal sitting in Benin City, presided over by Justice Olukayode Bada, has upheld the Appeal filed against Chief Rich Arisco Osemwengie and others by the Edo State Government, the Benin Traditional Council, BTC, and others, following alleged attempt by Chief Osemwengie and others to usurp the powers and ridicule the stool of the Oba of Benin.
The appellate court said the High Court in Benin which earlier ruled in favour of Chief Osemwengie and others who were challenging the validity of the Traditional Rulers and Chieftaincy Edit of 1979, erred because the suit filed “by Osemwengie and others against the governor of Edo State and the BTC at the High Court Benin City is status barred and does not disclose the reasonable cause of action.”
It will be recalled that Chief Osemnwengie and others were earlier charged by the Edo State Government at the Oredo Magistrate Court for allegedly waging communal war and installing a traditional ruler without lawful authority as prohibited by the Traditional Rulers and chieftaincy edit of 1979 of the then Bendel State, as applicable to Edo State.
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State presents the Staff of Office to His Royal Majesty, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin after his coronation, Thursday
However, Justice Bada ordered that the suit filed by Chief Osemwengie at the High Court against the governor of Edo State and the BTC be struck out since they were instituted outside the time limit stipulated by the status of limitation of Bendel State as applicable in Edo State, noting that the law they were relying on which existed during the Midwest region had been repealed by the Traditional and chieftaincy Edit of 1979, therefore they had no locus standi to institute a suit in the first place against the state governor and the BNC.
Justice Bada who upheld the Appeal filed by the Edo State governor and the BTC and others, noted that the Respondents (Chief Osemwengie and others) had been in slumber for 37 years but “suddenly woke up from their slumber even when they have no reasonable cause of action as they are only recognized as a chief in the palace of the Oba of Benin (Ogiamien of Benin Kingdom) as indicated by the extant law”.
Reacting to the court ruling yesterday, Counsel to the Edo State government and the BTC, Chief Charles Edosomwan (SAN) leading O.A.Aimiuwu Esq and Douglas Ogbankwa, described the judgment as victory for the Benin traditional institution and the people of the Kingdom.

Catholic priest who married two wives

Catholic priest who married 2 wives
Parishioners at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, Kakuri parish, Kaduna State, are still in shock following revelation that the parish priest, Very Reverend Father Peter Zuni, 54, was engaged in a secret marriage to two women.
This act has led to him being disrobed and sacked from the priesthood. According to Sun, one of the wives is already late, while the surviving one who blew the whistle about three weeks ago over the secret marriage is said to be nursing a child for the priest.
Going by the doctrine of the Catholic Church, only unmarried men are ordained into the priesthood as they are obligated to swear to an oath of celibacy and observe perfect and perpetual service for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.
This, it is believed, would enable the priests to easily remain close to Christ with an undivided heart, and dedicate themselves more freely to the service of God and the congregation.
When Sun visited the premises of the Queen of the Apostles parish, some parishioners confirmed the report, which they said was initially thought to be mere rumour.
The parishioners who spoke on condition of anonymity said they were shocked and surprised to learn of a petition to the Bishop of Kaduna Archdiocese, Bishop Ndagoso Manoso, that two women had children for their parish priest, an act considered to be an abomination and grave sin against the Catholic doctrine.
They pointed out that in order to cover up the priest’s ‘sin’ from spreading to the larger public, the Archdiocese allegedly organised a send off for the embattled priest to a remote village in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
“During the send off, the priest was not allowed to make a farewell speech, and many people refused to take photographs with him. There was little or no felicitation with him because most of the time he was seen standing aloof under a mango tree without anybody going close to him.
“Nobody can say when the priest committed the alleged sinful act. If it happened before his ordination, he wouldn’t have been ordained, so probably it was after his ordination, and you know, God does not sleep, no matter the length of cover up, one day the bubble will burst. And the bubble has burst now,” the parishioner said.
Priest’s Reaction
However, when Sun contacted the disrobed priest on his telephone line, and sought comments on his alleged controversial transfer from the city to a remote village, he said: “Nobody is ordained to remain and work in the city. I have spent five years as parish priest of Queen of Apostles, so I can work anywhere, city or village.”
On the allegation of his involvement in secret marriage to two women who bore children for him even as a Catholic priest, he neither denied nor confirmed the allegation. Rather he said: “I find it difficult myself to believe what people are saying about me. I will not comment on it now. I will follow due process to invite you for an interview.”
Rev Fr. Zuni said he is currently based in Suleja, Niger State. But Sun gathered that parishioners were made to believe that the embattled priest was transferred to Gumel village in southern Kaduna, while he was actually sacked from the priesthood.

Jigawa State Govt. To wed 130 in mass wedding

Jigawa  State Govt.  To wed 130 in mass wedding

No fewer than 130 suitors have registered in Gwaram Local Government Area to participate in a mass wedding, sponsored by the Jigawa State Government.
The Local Government’s Information Officer, Malam Nasiru Yusif, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse on Friday that the new suitors comprised of 80 men and 50 women.
Yusif said the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the wedding in the area, Malam Abdullahi Basirka, announced the figure at a stakeholder meeting held in Gwaram on Thursday.
He said the committee would visit the District Head of the area to solicit his support in educating people on the importance of the programme.
According to him, the Council Chairman, Alhaji Ilu Shuwarin, has pledged the council’s support towards successful hosting of the mass wedding.
On July 16, the Jigawa Government set up a 19-member committee to organise mass weddings for widows and divorcees in the state.
The committee is headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abdulkadir Fanini.
The government said the aim of the exercise was to check social vices among the people of the state.
